About Me
Hi there, I'm Rickard Dahlberg, and I've been working in Game Design education for the better part of three years. My most recent role was as Head Teacher for the Game Design course at Futuregames - Stockholm.
Before becoming Head Teacher, I worked as Substitute Head of Education - Game Design, Unreal Engine mentor, and Educational Material Producer, focusing on foundational Unreal Engine training in a pre-recorded format.
I graduated as a Game Designer from Futuregames in September 2021, with a focus on Level, Technical, and Gameplay Design.
As a person, I'm kind, observant, and goal-oriented—a thinker who enjoys social interactions. I'm equally comfortable guiding others as I am learning from fellow leaders. My strength lies in fostering a team dynamic where everyone feels included and has opportunities to grow and explore their skills, contributing to the quality of the project.
Outside of work, I enjoy acrylic painting and spending time with family and friends. I also appreciate occasional outings with colleagues—it’s great fun to connect beyond the workplace!
As a designer, I thrive on collaborative design sessions, brainstorming creative solutions, and bringing fresh ideas to the table. I excel in team environments, where we encourage and support each other to reach collective goals.
My design philosophy is simple: there's always a solution to every challenge, and I strive to find the best, most tailored approaches to address those challenges.
